About the Author
Denise Montgomery is a writer, editor, instructional designer and content specialist based in Southern California. As a freelancer and editor, she works with experts across the country writing about health care, communication, business and leadership issues and holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in English. Her family has extreme longevity in the genes and has modeled the art of living actively, independently, safely, and gracefully; Denise’s 75-year-old mother checks in regularly on her 99-year-old grandmother in between Zumba classes and Jazz lectures (just as Grandma herself once did for 104-year-old great-grandpa Joe back home in the Midwest), all the while keeping tabs on Denise’s stepdad on his Jitterbug phone.
