Most Jitterbug Flip phones have either been replaced or have received an automatic software update that corrects the problem that causes some Jitterbug Flip phones to fail. We have made several attempts to reach customers that still have a phone that has not been updated or replaced.

When you are not using your Jitterbug Flip, to ensure that you receive the update, please have your phone powered on, closed, and whenever possible charging on the charger. This update will not change any other functionality. Your pictures, text messages, and voicemail messages will not be impacted.

If your phone is not working, in the event of an emergency, contact 911 directly via another phone device. Jitterbug Flip2 phones, Jitterbug smartphones and Lively branded devices are not affected.
