January 2025
Legal Terms
Effective on January 8, 2025, our Urgent Response Terms and Conditions will be updated to include: A new address to send billing inquiries;
A more transparent description of the government fee, surcharges, and discretional charges that are included on your monthly invoices;
A revised description of our Fall Detection service;
The elimination of the service fees requirement charged for replacement devices under the Lively Protection Plan; and
A change of the contract’s governing law to the state of Minnesota.
Effective on January 8, 2025, our Smart and Flip Phone Customer Agreement will be updated to include:
A new address to send billing inquiries;
A more transparent description of the government fee, surcharges, and discretional charges that are included on your monthly invoices;
The inclusion of a provision describing our new SIM Card Kit;
The elimination of the service fees requirement charged for replacement devices under the Lively Protection Plan; and
A change of the contract’s governing law to the state of Minnesota.
Privacy Policy
Effective on January 1, 2025, our States Rights Privacy Policy was updated to include details regarding our processing and your rights under the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act, Nebraska Data Privacy Act, New Hampshire Data Privacy Act, and New Jersey Data Privacy Law.
February 2025
On February 10, 2025, our Terms of Use, Urgent Response Terms and Conditions, Smart and Flip Phone Customer Agreement, Standard Warranty, and Lively Rides Concierge Services Terms will be updated to include a revised arbitration provision that details the arbitration process, class action waiver, jury waiver, and applicable law and venue. The Terms of Use and Lively Rides Concierge Services Terms will also be updated to change the contracts’ governing laws to the state of Minnesota.
Effective on February 10, 2025, the States Rights Privacy Policy will be updated to clarify the sharing information with social media networks and third-party marketing partners.
