Fall detection
An add-on service for your personal medical alert device.
About Fall Detection
When you wear your Lively Mobile2 medical alert device around your neck on our specially designed lanyard, it can sense if you’ve fallen and will automatically connect you to a certified Urgent Response agent, even if you’re unable to press the button. Your Agent will confirm your location, assess the situation, and get you the help you need.

You can add Fall Detection to the Lively Mobile2 medical alert for just $9.99/month.
Fall Detection is an optional feature and may not always accurately detect a fall. Users should always push their button when they need help, if possible. Button signal range may vary due to device sensitivity, battery strength and other environmental factors.
How Fall Detection Works
To detect falls, the mobile alert uses a built-in accelerometer, a piece of technology that detects movement in multiple directions, and patented algorithms to evaluate sudden changes in your body movement, in relation to your physical activity and posture.
If your Fall Detection-enabled device detects a fall, it will automatically contact an Urgent Response agent without the need to press the button. Your agent will get you the help you need and can stay on the line until your situation is resolved. And loved ones who follow you with the Lively Link app will receive an alert.
You must wear the Lively Mobile2 with the lanyard around your neck in order for Fall Detection to work properly. You can wear the lanyard outside or inside of clothing. Wearing or carrying your Lively Mobile2 in any other way (such as in your purse or on a belt clip) will cause real falls to go undetected.
Common questions
If your Lively Mobile device detects a fall, a voice prompt will play, saying “Fall detected. Calling Urgent Response. Press button to cancel.” Immediately after this prompt, you will have a few seconds to press the button to cancel the call. If you don't press the button to cancel the call, Urgent Response will automatically be called to assist.
Note: The device may not detect all falls. If you fall and you don't hear the voice prompt that a fall has been detected, press your call button with a single, short press and then wait to hear the message, "Calling Urgent Response." Multiple button presses may disconnect the call to Urgent Response.
